How blind man can actually be.
Belshazzar was indeed a proud man. He was more interested in showing off how
wealthy He is by given Daniel what He had promised. True repentance brings a
man to his knees: to Belshazzar that does not matter to him at this point.
Belshazzar should have repented and called upon God as his Father
Nebuchadnezzar did. Daniel had not asked for these gifts, but Belshazzar gave
them anyway. One thing we must realize here, Belshazzar did not reject the
interpretation of Daniel. He knew what Daniel said was true that was why He
rewarded Daniel.
